Sensitive as the issue might have became, once and for all we suddenly felt the need to clarify something out. We are very sorry if by any chance you find any of the very few rules vague, but Miss World XXX is a beauty pageant for women – natural born females. We do not mean to offend any sex or groups, we just want to make it clear that aside from lesbians, we do not allow males or other members of the gay community to compete in the pageant. I’m sure majority of the gay community can understand our stand in this. Its basically the same for setting up a pageant specifically for men, or for kids, or dogs or… cats..

You see, we had one applicant yesterday who submitted his completed form. In the “more about me” section of the application form, it states that he is gay and he loves to dress in drag. We e-mailed the applicant explaining that we have to refuse his application because he is not a natural born woman – hell I’m sure you understand. Anyway, he e-mailed us back saying that the “Miss World XXX pageant is a bunch of bull , you are a couple of hypocrites, sexists and chauvinistic morons.” We understand the outrage because some people tend to have bursts like this — men, women or gay… But our concern is not the insult that you’ve thrown our way but your respect for the simple rules that we have.

You might not know but staff here in Ms.World XXX is not like Simon Cowel, who throws all kinds of insult in every chance that we get. We hate having to reprimand people because we believe in the most abused word in the American dictionary –freedom. Yeah we know it’s cheesy, but seriously we don’t want to come to the point that we are being accused of defeating the purpose of the pageant.

Much that we love the gay community; we will have to make a little exception this time. We do believe in the fact that you are women “deep within you” but come on! Leave the damn emo attitude to the teenagers!
